Fantastic outing stifles Padres
Reason number one why you should not panic about tonight’s 6-0 loss to the Seattle Mariners: it was just the accuracy of their starting pitcher that kept us out of the game.
We did lose to the Mariners tonight, and though it’s a pity that we did, I’m not worried at all. Okay, I guess it is the Mariners and it isn’t surprising that we lost to them, but still. I think this whole winning thing is going to stick around for a while for the Padres.
Seattle’s Jason Vargas was literally dominant. He threw the whole game for goodness sakes, without giving up a run!! Really gotta give him credit for such an amazing outing. And hey, we’ve got Cory Luebke going for us tomorrow, so no problem.
GO PADRES!!!!!
