To Change or Not to Change…

…that is the question. So, I’ve been thinking about changing the title of my blog and I was wondering what you all thought. As most of you probably don’t know, this blog is named “Unfinished Business” based on a quote by Padres General Manager Kevin Towers at the beginning of the season regarding Game 163 in 2007. As you’ll find out in my next entry, Game 163 impacted me deeply. But now, we don’t have the unfinished business anymore. We failed. And so, I feel like I should change the name of my blog at the beginning of 2009. I have a new name ready and everything, but what do you think?

The Winter Meeting start today. If Jake is going to be traded, it’s going to be during these meetings. It appears that the Cubs are the most interested, but I think the Braves will at least talk a little more. Things will be happening this week. Let the games begin!

Well what would you call it if you did change it?

Yeah, don’t keep us in suspense! Do you have a new name for the blog? Personally, I like “Unfinished Business.” I look forward to hearing how that game in ’07 impacted you, but “Unfinished Business” suggests that you’re ready for the Padres to win a championship and that’s cool.

As much as i like Peavy, I hope that the Braves do not trade for him because i dont want to lose Yunel. And i think Unfinished Business is a good name too but it depends what you would be changing it to.

Kaybee – I like “Unfinished Business”. There is always something more for us to do….something still to accomplish. Nothing is ever completly done when it comes to baseball.

Thanks for the input, guys! I have decided to keep “Unfinished Business”. We really do still have unfinished business, cause we’ve been in the World Series twice and we’ve lost the World Series twice. So, I will be keeping this title at least until the Padres win the World Series. (That might be awhile) Besides, I reallly like the name :) Thanks again!

I agree with Julia. I also really like “Unfinished Business.” It just has an interesting sound to it. I actually first clicked on this blog because of the title. Keep up the good work.
