Check it out!

This week my wish list is featured on The MLB.com Shopper blog! I am very excited. Here’s the link: Kaybee’s Wish List

In other news, there is no news! The Padres and all of baseball have been super quiet. There was a rumor in the last week that Khalil Greene is off the trade block, but I don’t feel like speculating on that.

My Thanksgiving went pretty well. I had some great food, listened to a woman rant about Obama for half an hour, played some Pictionary, and ate some amazing pumpkin cheesecake. We also went to a Thanksgiving service at our church, which was really neat.

The offseason is so annoying. I hate the times like this, where MLB.com is scratching the bottom of the barrel to keep some sort of interesting news on the front page. I miss baseball. But one thing I love is the weather. I love having to wear jackets all the time. I love the crispness in the air. Living in San Diego, we don’t get snow. But I think I would love snow…maybe. I love the rainy days where you are stuck inside all day. I love the brilliant clouds. I am obsessed with clouds and sunsets.

Well, hopefully things will pick up soon. Meanwhile, I will enjoy this amazing weather!

I’m glad you had a great Thanksgiving & congrats on the “wishlist”. And you’re right, this off-season is really dragging. Is it February yet??

Congrats about your blog being on the front page! Glad to hear that your Thanksgiving went well, that pumpkin cheesecake sounds absolutely delicious. Hot Stove season is so boring, can we please hear about someone besides Tex, Sabathia, and Burnett (Jane mentioned this in her latest post). Hopefully a cold front will sweep through Florida… I’ve only seen snow once, but I absolutely loved it.

The first snow is always nice, but having to shovel is just a pain in the neck.

Hey Kaybee!

The good news is only eight more “shopping days” until the Winter Meetings, and then you can be sure there will be more news on the site than you can keep up with (OK, I bet you can keep up with it but at least you won’t be bored) …

And Pictionary and pumpkin cheesecake sounds like a pretty sublime Thanksgiving to me!

Thanks for checking out my blog and I am sure to be a regular reader of yours now as well!

Kaybee…
Congrats on being the featured shopper. I just purchased a Padres shirt for my ballhawking endeavors…can’t wait to try it out in ’09!

BTW, That TrevorTime 51 sign rules!
